This new matcha place in Singapore offers a unique experience of arranging a floral bouquet to decorate your matcha takeaway container. It’s a cute, hands-on weekend activity that makes for a fun date, a chill outing with friends, or even a solo treat.

Studio Frond
Studio Frond is a contemporary takeaway matcha and botanical bar with a calm, minimal setup.
Most of the menu focuses on matcha and hojicha drinks. They use two matcha blends with distinct flavour profiles, one from Zhejiang and another from Uji.
For those who want something different, there’s a seasonal cold brew tea and a pour-over coffee.

If you’re feeling adventurous, you can also try their speciality drinks, like the white corn or miso butterscotch, which are available with either matcha or hojicha.
You can take a look at their menu here.
Floral arrangement experience

Prices for their takeaway floral-holder experience start from $15 for a set, which includes:
• 1 base
• 1 floral
• 1 accent
• and the carton tray

Additional stems are $3 each if you want to build a fuller bouquet. You can see their list of flowers here.
The process is simple and fun. First, you’ll be given a small paper sheet to select your flowers.

Then, the staff will give you a tray and a plier to trim and arrange the stems yourself.

Pottery
In addition to drinks and flowers, Studio Frond offers a curated selection of pottery from independent artists. These pieces make for a perfect little memento or gift to take home.

When to go
They open only on weekends, so plan your visit accordingly. Since weekends can get busy, heading there earlier in the day helps ensure you get the full flower selection.
