Singapore’s first-ever Renaissance Faire is set to take place in 2026 for one weekend only.
Here’s a simple guide on what to expect:
WHAT
Singapore is getting its first-ever Renaissance Faire, Ren Faire Sg: The Origin, a two-day festival where the park transforms into a medieval-fantasy village.
There’s a bit of lore baked in. In the world of Xenaria, a grand fair happens once every five years to honour its founding and pick new leaders. You arrive just in time to join a house. Pick 1 out of 5 houses: the House of Wit, Courage, Strength, Faith or Truth, and participate in group quests.
You can expect:
- a craft marketplace (around 100 local vendors)
- roaming performers
- DnD tables
- trinket trading
- tarot readings and a DIY spell-jar workshop
- Costume & Guild Champion contests
and more!
WHO
Ren Faire Sg: The Origin is brought to life by 23-year-old Caylee Chua, the organiser behind the event, with some help from friends and family.
Joining the fair as part of the experience:
- The Seven Seas of Sage, LARPing characters from their fantasy audio series, Guardians Unheard
- LARP Singapore Community, as part of the street cast
- Small businesses bringing themed goods and crafts
It’s for anyone: fantasy fans, curious newcomers, friend groups, or if you just want to take awesome photos.

WHY GO
Because it’s not every day Singapore turns into a scene out of a fantasy novel.
Between the quests, the vendors, the performances and the general chaotic whimsy of people dressed as knights under SG’s intense humidity, it’s one of the more unique things to do this coming year.
