If you’re a Skullpanda fan (or just love visually striking exhibitions), this one’s worth putting on your radar.
Skullpanda Cage-Uncage Singapore has made its international debut at the National Museum of Singapore, running from 12 December 2025 to 22 February 2026.
Presented by POP MART in collaboration with Skullpanda creator Xiong Miao, the exhibition brings the popular character off the shelf and into a full-scale immersive showcase.
What You’ll See Inside
The exhibition is split into six themed zones, each designed as an interactive, walk-through space inspired by the SKULLPANDA The Paradox Series.

There are large-scale installations, sculptural pieces, mirrors, lights, and hands-on elements.

Each zone has a different visual focus, from reflective mirror rooms to kinetic objects and interactive blocks, with a central mirrored room featuring two Skullpanda sculptures that create an almost infinite visual effect.

A Singapore-Exclusive Installation
One highlight unique to the Singapore edition features suspended bird cages displaying original prototype Skullpanda figurines.
The installation takes inspiration from bird-singing culture commonly seen in local neighbourhoods, adding a distinctly Singapore touch to the exhibition.
There’s also a video artwork created specially for this showcase, featuring Xiong Miao’s signature butterfly moving through familiar Singapore scenes before landing at the National Museum.
Photo Spots Beyond the Gallery
You don’t have to wait until you’re inside to start snapping photos.
A giant Skullpanda sculpture will be installed on the museum’s front lawn, with additional displays at the Rotunda and the LED wall outside the Salon.
Exclusive Merch You Can Only Get Here
Ticket holders will get access to a showcase-exclusive merchandise zone, featuring limited-edition items including a Skullpanda Cage–Uncage plush and collectables you won’t find elsewhere.
POP MART’s jewellery line POPOP will also make its Singapore debut here.
There’s a separate POP MART pop-up at the museum’s Longer Concourse if you’re just browsing, but the exhibition-only merch is limited and subject to purchase caps.
